After a career in the legal field for 10 years, Cindy Bulthuis is currently in her fifth year of teaching 5th grade in Matteson, Illinois. She is passionate about educational equality, promoting the use of educational technology and not forgetting the importance of science and social studies in the curriculum. She has presented at conferences including the Southland Learning Conference and IETC. Cindy also was the 2021 Superintendent's Outstanding Award Recipient as well as the American Battlefield Trust Conference Scholarship Winner.
