Evaluating your Technology Program: 12 Questions to Ask
This workshop will identify a number of key questions that technology leaders should be able to answer in order to get a comprehensive understanding of their technology programs and systems. The questions will address the organization's key performance indicators as well as other commonly accepted accountability indicators. Facets to be considered will include infrastructure, cybersecurity, human resources, policy development, and professional development. The session will provide recommendations for how to use that data to improve technology programs and to advocate when necessary for executive and board support in alignment with a district's strategic plan or goals.

Personalize Learning with Self Paced Classrooms
You have a wide range of skills, learning styles, attendance, and personality in your classroom. Engage and challenge EVERY student by enrolling the use of self-paced units! In this workshop, you will be introduced to different models of self-paced classrooms, hear about how this transformed my own classroom, and create at least one self-paced unit to use in your classroom. In addition to the unit materials, you'll walk away with communication materials to explain expectations, the general design of the unit and how the grading will work and more for parents, students, and your peers. This workshop is great for teachers and technology/instructional coaches alike to try out some new strategies and use time to plan out what this would look like in their schools and classrooms!
