LeAnn is a middle school educator with over 30 years of experience in the classroom, along with many years of experience helping fellow teachers design and implement activities that engage and inspire students. Teachers get excited about using LeAnn’s activities that not only meet the learning standards but inspire students to use their knowledge and gifts to make a positive impact on their world today. With decades of experience in the middle school, LeAnn delivers practical methods to develop project-based learning units that welcome students’ ideas and curiosities, while fostering collaboration and executive functioning skills in a simulated real-world career setting.

LeAnn earned her MSED in Integrating Technology into the Classroom from Walden University. She has received numerous awards as a teacher including the 2007 Turner N. Wiley Teacher of the Year. Her knowledge of and passion for teaching middle school students coupled with her talent in developing authentic curriculum make her an asset to anyone who wants to help students become more engaged while developing skills they will need in the 21st century!
Oh, and LeAnn is also a wife, mom, Cardinal fan, and beginning kayaker! She keeps herself busy with her family and friends, and in the summer, she dedicates time each day to hold the float down in her pool!
