Feedback form is now closed.
Feedback can be a valuable tool in supporting student and teacher growth. Effective feedback can promote an environment of continuous learning and improvement. Formative assessments driven by learning targets generate opportunities to give effective feedback and foster growth. In this session, participants will investigate different types of feedback and the components needed for it to be effective. Participants will reflect on past feedback strategies they have used and their impact on student (or teacher) learning. A variety of strategies and delivery methods (i.e. verbal, written, or digital) will be shared and practiced in this session. Regardless of your role in education, the key strategies for effective feedback can be applied to students and as well as educators. Feedback provides the opportunity to improve.
