What does high-quality blended learning look like in action? In this workshop, we'll focus on three main areas of blended learning: (a) clear vision of successful blended experiences, (b) the power of mindfulness to influence learning, and (c) lesson design that requires students to get active. To do this, we'll refine our definition of blended learning into actionable strategies, then engage in modeled examples of learning paths to feel more confident about building flexible pathways in our classrooms. Next, we'll practice mindfulness activities together and plan for ways to weave SEL into our lessons as both stand-alone breaks from instruction and parallel skills within the academic learning itself. Finally, we'll play with action-based learning prompts that propel students into the learning path. Come with energy and an open mind; leave with samples, templates, experiences, collaborative ideas, and plans to refresh blended learning in your classrooms this school year.
