Students: the cause of (and now solution to) all of your Chromebook repair problems. Students have proven that they are experts in destroying Chromebooks, but what about repairing them? For the past 4 years, high school students at Eureka CUSD 140 have been fixing every damaged Chromebook from both students and staff. In this presentation, we will look at what happens when you give students the tools, physically and intellectually, to keep your Chromebook fleet in tip top shape. The process from start-up to lessons learned will be revealed as well as how to get students industry certified and prepped for college, technical school, or career right out of high school.
