This session shows how the flipped classroom model can give you more classroom time to work with students by removing direct instruction (lecture) from classroom time. This time can be used to apply information, work with individual students, provide social and emotional learning supports (SEL), and allow for collaboration time. This is especially important with equity, remote & hybrid learning & demonstrates a better use of synchronous & asynchronous instructional time to improve learning outcomes.

This session will include for main areas: 1) Today’s New Teaching ‘Realities’; 2) ESSA and Blended Learning; 3) Flipped Basics and Beyond; and 4) Remember your ‘Why’ & Practical Ideas.
